Nationwide Television and streaming has brought great sporting events right into the living rooms of homes around the world and to mobile devices everywhere, but there is still no substitute for being right there, right in the thick of things, to experience the sights and the sounds and above all, the adrenaline rush that comes with live action.
On Saturday, 6 July the adrenaline will be flowing like water among the massive crowd expected at Hollywoodbets Greyville Racecourse in Durban for the running of the R5 million, Grade 1, Hollywoodbets Durban July, the greatest racing, fashion and entertainment extravaganza on the African continent.
On that day Hollywoodbets Greyville Racecourse and its surrounds will be teeming with people and vehicles and the best way to avoid being held up in queues of people and cars is to secure entrance and parking tickets WELL BEFORE you get to Hollywoodbets Greyville Racecourse.
Entrance tickets and golf course parking tickets are on sale NOW as follows:-

In addition closer to raceday:-
- From 24 June, entrance tickets will also be sold from the sales kiosk in Avondale Road. The kiosk is located near the Gate 9 entrance of Hollywoodbets Greyville Racecourse and will be open from 10h00 to 17h00 on weekdays and on Hollywoodbets Greyville Racecourse racedays during this period.
On raceday:-
- From Gate 9 in Avondale Road.
- From the Ticket Sales Hut at Gate 15 in Mitchell Crescent (across the road from Clarence Primary and Tape Aids for the Blind).
- At the BOOMTOWN entrance off the RED DOT Parking Area.
On raceday Hollywoodbets Greyville Racecourse and its surrounds will be teeming with people and vehicles and the best way to avoid being held up in queues of people and cars is to secure entrance and parking tickets before raceday.
On raceday a limited number of Red Dot Parking tickets to park on the Golf Course will be available from Ticketpro. The parking area on the Golf Course can only take a set number of cars and only this number of Parking Tickets will be sold. It is highly recommended that you purchase parking tickets long before raceday. Once this set number of cars is reached there will be no more parking ticket sales.
All cars wishing to park on the Golf Course are to access via Gladys Manzi Road (Mitchell Crescent) which will be contraflow along the racecourse back stretch on raceday. Join the queue of cars, follow the signs and listen to the traffic marshalls.
IN SUMMARY – GOLF COURSE PARKING TICKETS – R170 – (ONLY PRE-PURCHASED OR CARD PAYMENTS IN DLI AVENUE ON RACEDAY). NO CASH ACCEPTED.
TO EMPHASIZE – NO CASH PAYMENTS FOR PARKING ONCE YOU ARE IN THE PARKING QUEUE ON RACEDAY – CARD PAYMENTS ONLY.
ALSO – IF YOU ARE PARKING ON THE GOLF COURSE, EVERYONE IN YOUR VEHICLE MUST BE IN POSSESSION OF A PRE-PURCHASED RACECOURSE ENTRANCE TICKET AS ENTRANCE TICKETS WILL NOT BE SOLD AT THE PARKING ENTRANCE.

Please ensure that the hospitality package that you purchase includes the racecourse entrance ticket, alternatively you will have to purchase a separate Entrance Ticket for R230.
